Air Lift™ Bedside Commode
The AirLift Bedside Commode uses a powerful
mechanism that employs air struts and helps people get on and get
off the toilet. Its ergonomic design, which has won a US patent,
and its height adjustable frame provide stable support for the
user. The Airlift bedside commode is versatile, can be used
anywhere in the house, and it’s very easy to clean. It comes
with an optional pants holder accessory.
The
seat is tilted at 44 degrees to the horizontal, gently lowering
the user into a seating position. The user is pneumatically
lifted to the standing position using only gravitational energy
stored in the air struts (no waterpower or electricity is
necessary) during both lowering and lifting. The product installs
with two bolts on any standard toilet pedestal and accommodates
weights up to 270 pounds. It is adjustable and can act as an
ordinary toilet seat or can quickly be removed and replaced by a
regular toilet seat.
The
AIRLIFTTM is simple to install and
intuitive to use. The benefits are immediately obvious. Wherever
an assistant is involved much less effort is required,
diminishing the risk of back strain to the care-giver.
